Mathematics in year 4

We have been learning about 'bus stop' division during our Maths lessons in year 4.
Everyone has been doing really well with this tricky concept!

Our favourite metaphors and similes

 My favourite metaphor and simile is... He was as powerful as a strict bull charging into a metal wall! - simile: His eyes were dark chesnut and his eyes were stuck to the wall! Metaphor: 


The tiger had rip jaws.As the wind blew like a storm.

Poetry with year 4

Year 4 have been writing some great poems to put on our class poet-tree! 
The children wrote colour poems using metaphors and similes on a colourful leaf and added them to the tree.
